Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped

1 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1 egg, beaten

Olive oil (for cooking)

Burger buns

Lettuce, tomato, and your choice of condiments for serving

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped spinach, white cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and beaten egg.

Mix until all ingredients are well combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the burgers tender.

Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties, about 3/4 inch thick.

Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the chicken patties.

Cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the burgers are golden brown.

During the last minute of cooking, you can add extra white cheddar cheese on top of the patties and cover the skillet with a lid to melt the cheese.

Toast the burger buns in a separate pan or on a grill until golden brown.

Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on the bottom half of each bun, followed by lettuce, tomato, and any additional condiments you like. Top with the other half of the bun.

Serve immediately and enjoy your delightful White Cheddar & Spinach Chicken Burgers!
