Tuna Salad Bagel Sandwich

Ingredients
  

1 can (5 oz) tuna in water, drained

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

1 tablespoon Greek yogurt

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon capers, rinsed and chopped

2 tablespoons red onion, finely diced

1 celery stalk, finely chopped

1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)

Salt and pepper to taste

2 whole grain bagels, split and toasted

4 leaves of romaine lettuce

1 tomato, sliced

Optional: Slices of avocado or pickles for extra toppings

Instructions
 

In a medium bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, and Dijon mustard. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

    Add the chopped capers, red onion, celery, and dill to the tuna mixture. Stir until everything is well combined.

      Season the tuna salad with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust the seasoning if necessary.

        Toast the bagels to your desired level of crispiness.

          Lay a leaf of romaine lettuce on the bottom half of each toasted bagel.

            Generously spoon the tuna salad over the lettuce leaves.

              Top with tomato slices and any additional toppings such as avocado or pickles if desired.

                Place the top half of the toasted bagel over the sandwich and press down gently.
