Ingredients

2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

2 cups fresh peaches, pitted and sliced (about 4 medium)

1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust based on fruit sweetness)

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup rolled oats

3/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare Fruit Filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced strawberries and peaches. Add the granulated sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Toss gently to coat the fruit evenly. Pour the fruit mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.

Make Crisp Topping: In another bowl, mix together the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Pour the melted butter over the oat mixture and stir until well combined and crumbly.

Assemble: Evenly sprinkle the crisp topping over the fruit filling in the baking dish.

Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbly.

Cool & Serve: Remove from the oven and allow to cool for about 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm, possibly with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
