Ingredients

1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon cumin

Salt and pepper to taste

2 cups frozen French fries

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

4 large flour tortillas

1 cup sour cream

½ cup diced fresh tomatoes

½ cup chopped green onions

¼ cup pickled jalapeños (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Steak: In a bowl, combine the sliced flank steak with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well to coat the steak and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Cook the Fries: Preheat the oven and bake the French fries according to package instructions until crispy and golden brown. Alternatively, you can fry them for an extra crunch.

Cook the Steak: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated steak in the skillet for about 4-6 minutes, or until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Remove from heat.

Assemble the Burritos: On a clean work surface, lay out a flour tortilla. In the center, layer cooked steak, crispy fries, a generous amount of cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses, diced tomatoes, and green onions. Add pickled jalapeños if you like some heat!

Wrap the Burrito: Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll it tightly from the bottom up to create a burrito. Repeat with remaining tortillas.

Grill the Burritos: Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Place each burrito seam-side down and grill for 2-3 minutes on each side, until the tortillas are crispy and the cheese is melted.

Serve: Slice the burritos in half and serve immediately with a side of sour cream for dipping!
