1 lb (450g) flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided

1 red bell pepper, julienned

1 green bell pepper, julienned

1 large onion, sliced thinly

4 cloves garlic, minced

1-inch piece fresh ginger, minced

1 tablespoon sesame oil

2 tablespoons hoisin sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

Cooked rice or noodles, for serving

Marinate the Steak: In a medium bowl, combine the sliced flank steak, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Toss to coat well and let marinate for at least 15 minutes.

    Prep the Vegetables: While the steak is marinating, prepare the vegetables. Slice the bell peppers and onions, and mince the garlic and ginger. Set aside.
