Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup chicken broth

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

8 oz fettuccine pasta

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions

Prep the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning on both sides.

Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside to rest.

Sauté Garlic and Tomatoes: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and halved cherry tomatoes. Cook until the tomatoes soften, about 3-4 minutes.

Make the Sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Add in the grated Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes (if using). Allow the sauce to simmer for about 5 minutes until it thickens slightly.

Cook the Pasta: While the sauce simmers, cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Combine: Slice the cooked chicken and add it back to the skillet with the sauce. Toss in the cooked pasta and mix until everything is coated with the creamy sauce.

Serve: Plate the pasta, garnishing with fresh basil leaves, and sprinkle with extra Parmesan if desired.
