Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (or turkey)

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

1 cup fresh jalapeños, diced (remove seeds for less heat)

1/2 cup sour cream

1 tbsp garlic powder

1 tbsp onion powder

1 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/4 cup chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cook the Meat: In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef (or turkey) until fully cooked, about 7-10 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Mix Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, half of the cheddar cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, diced jalapeños, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Combine Meat and Cheese Mixture: Add the cooked meat to the cheese mixture and stir until everything is evenly coated.

Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.

Top with Cheese: Sprinkle the remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheese on top.

Bake: Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

Garnish and Serve: Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
