Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/4 cup ranch dressing

1/4 cup chopped green onions

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

4 hamburger buns

Lettuce, tomato, and additional ranch for serving (optional)

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, ranch dressing, chopped green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and smoked paprika (if using). Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated, but do not overmix to keep the patties tender.

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each into a patty, about 3/4 inch thick.

Preheat a grill or non-stick skillet over medium heat. Lightly oil the grill or skillet to prevent sticking.

Cook the patties for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the burgers are nicely browned.

Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

Assemble the burgers: Place a patty on the bottom half of each bun, add lettuce and tomato if desired, and drizzle additional ranch dressing on top. Place the top half of the bun to complete.

Serve the burgers hot with your favorite side dishes like fries or a fresh salad.
