Ingredients

1 pound salmon fillet, skinless and boneless, cut into bite-sized pieces

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

1/4 cup honey

3 tablespoons soy sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)

Chopped green onions, for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Salmon: Start by patting the salmon pieces dry with a paper towel to help the coating stick. In a bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss the salmon pieces in the flour mixture until fully coated.

Heat the Oil: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the salmon bites in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding the pan; you may need to do this in batches. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove them from the pan and set aside.

Make the Honey Garlic Sauce: In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the minced garlic and grated ginger. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then, pour in the honey and soy sauce. Stir continuously for approximately 2-3 minutes until the mixture thickens slightly.

Combine and Serve: Return the crispy salmon bites to the skillet, tossing them gently in the honey garlic sauce until they are evenly coated. Cook for an additional minute to allow the flavors to meld.

Garnish and Enjoy: Remove from heat and, if desired, sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions for added texture and flavor. Serve immediately as an appetizer or main dish.
