8 oz (225g) fettuccine or penne pasta

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced

4 slices of bacon, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix

1 cup (240ml) heavy cream

1 cup (240ml) chicken broth

1 cup (100g) shredded cheddar cheese

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Optional: 1 cup (150g) cherry tomatoes, halved

Instructions
 

Cook Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    Cook Bacon: In a large skillet over medium heat, add chopped bacon and cook until crispy. Remove bacon from the skillet and place on a paper towel-lined plate, leaving the bacon drippings in the pan.

      Cook Chicken: In the same skillet with bacon drippings, add diced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

        Make the Sauce: Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix over the chicken and stir to coat. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring well to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer.

          Add Cheese: Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and well combined. If using, add halved cherry tomatoes for a pop of color and flavor.
