Ingredients

1 cup cottage cheese

1/2 cup marinara sauce

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup sliced pepperoni (or your choice of toppings)

1/4 cup diced bell peppers (red and green)

1/4 cup sliced black olives

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)

Crushed red pepper flakes, for serving (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Grease a small baking dish or oven-safe bowl with olive oil or cooking spray. Spread the cottage cheese mixture evenly at the bottom.

Pour the marinara sauce over the cottage cheese layer, spreading it evenly.

Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese generously on top of the marinara sauce.

Add your choice of toppings: layer the sliced pepperoni, diced bell peppers, and black olives evenly over the cheese.

Place the bowl in the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.

Serve hot, and add crushed red pepper flakes for an extra kick if you like it spicy!
