Ingredients

1 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)

1 cup of granulated sugar (adjust sweetness to taste)

4 cups of vanilla ice cream

1 cup of chilled lemon-lime soda (such as Sprite or 7-Up)

Lemon slices, for garnish

Fresh mint leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Lemonade: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice with the granulated sugar. Stir well until the sugar is dissolved completely. You may need to whisk it a bit if the sugar isn’t dissolving easily.

Blend the Base: In a blender, add the prepared lemonade mixture and vanilla ice cream. Blend on medium speed until smooth and creamy.

Add Fizz: Pour the chilled lemon-lime soda into the blender. Pulse gently a few times to blend the soda without losing too much fizz.

Serve: Pour the frosted lemonade into tall glasses. Optionally, garnish with a lemon slice on the rim and fresh mint leaves for an extra touch of freshness.

Enjoy: Serve immediately with a straw or spoon, and enjoy your refreshing, homemade Frosted Lemonade!
