8 slices of sourdough bread

1 pound turkey breast, sliced (deli-style)

6 slices of sharp cheddar cheese

6 slices of bacon, cooked until crispy

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped (optional)

2 tablespoons butter, softened

Salt and pepper to taste

Prepare the Spread: In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard until smooth. Stir in chopped chives (if using), and season with a little salt and pepper.

    Assemble the Sandwich: On one side of 4 slices of sourdough bread, spread a generous layer of the mayonnaise-mustard mixture. Layer sliced turkey breast evenly on top, followed by two slices of crispy bacon and a slice of cheddar cheese.
