Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

4 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup cherries, pitted and halved (fresh or frozen)

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

1 tablespoon sliced almonds (optional, for topping)

1 tablespoon sugar (for sprinkling)

Instructions

Prepare Cream Cheese Filling: In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until smooth and creamy. Stir in the halved cherries gently.

Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.

Shape Croissants: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles. Place about 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle. Roll the dough tightly from the wide end to the tip, forming a crescent shape. Pinch the edges to seal.

Prepare for Air Frying: Brush the tops of each croissant with the beaten egg for a golden finish. Sprinkle lightly with additional sugar and top with sliced almonds if using.

Air Fry: Place a few croissants in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, or until they are golden brown and puffed.

Cool and Serve: Once cooked, remove the croissants from the air fryer and allow them to cool for a few minutes. Serve warm, and enjoy!
